Rumen Sensors
(Wireless)
Kahne rumen sensors float in the raft of the rumen and measure ruminal dynamics 24/7 – temperature, pressure/ motility and pH. The technology is user-configurable, where scientists and researchers choose their own read rates (5+ second intervals) and install their own ID numbers prior to oral insertion into dairy and beef animals.
Kahne technology benefits scientists and researchers by:
- Delivering accurate biometric data
- Delivering large quantity of data
- Reduced cost of data
- Less invasive practices
Kahne rumen sensors assist scientists and researchers by providing a continuous flow of in vivo measurements (rumen statistics) from unrestrained cattle living under realistic commercial conditions.
