Kahne launches the new pH sensor

The new pH sensor includes features to help protect against contamination and delay the onset of pH drift.

It is protected by cPVC, a robust and strong material that provides added protection against potential mechanical damage, and allows self cleaning.

The pH sensor is incorporated into a new bolus (KB1102) which also measures temperature and pressure. Testing of this new pH sensor has demonstrated impressive results over a 90 day trial, in which feedlot steers were dosed with KB1102 boluses. At the end of the trial the boluses were retrieved and accuracy tested in buffer solution

The KB1102 bolus provides an excellent and affordable option for continually measuring in-vivo pH, temperature and pressure; and offers scientists the ability to discover new insights into nutritional research, animal health and behaviour.
