Data is King

Wireless rumen sensors can overcome the logistical difficulties and sometimes biased methods of collecting rumen measurements.

Sometimes however, receiving live transmissions can be challenging, especially if your animals roam beyond the range of a field receiver. Should this happen, Kahne has engineered the wireless technology to ensure you retrieve that valuable data.

Simultaneous data-logging
The Kahne bolus is programmed to simultaneously log data when transmitting live. This dual function reassures the user that data can be retrieved whenever it is convenient, whether it be live or at the end of a period/ experiment.

Kahne Wand
Using a handheld Wand device, you can trigger the bolus in-vivo to download all logged data to a waiting field receiver a short distance away.

These exciting new developments enables you to obtain complete, comprehensive and accurate data sets from the rumen of animals at anytime, whether they be in free stalls, open paddocks or out on the range. Please for more details, and/or a video clip of the Kahne Wand operating.
